Instructions for poster presentations

Poster mounting: for all posters presented on the day (including the afternoon sessions as well): 8.00 - 10.00 am.

Poster removal: for all posters presented on the day: 4.00 - 6.00 pm.

Organizers will provide pins to fix the posters.

The required poster size is A0 (width: 841 mm, height: 1189 mm), portrait orientation. There is no restriction for the style, however, we kindly ask the authors to produce expressive and legible posters. The poster is not a "magnified short paper"!

Please consider the following rules when preparing your poster:

Font sizes:

  • title: 96 pt,
  • headings: 48 pt or larger,
  • text: 36 pt or larger,
  • smallest fonts in figures, tables: 24 pt or larger.

Font type should be sans serif like Arial or Helvetica.

You can freely use the logos of Compumag 2013, they can be downloaded in eps format or in jpg format.

 

Instructions for oral presentations

  • All presentations of the day (including the afternoon sessions as well) have to be uploaded to the computer provided by the organisers by 8:15 am. You can upload your presentation from 1 July (Monday), 8:00 am at any time before this deadline above. The computer and the technical staff you have to contact will be located at the rear side of the Ballroom (where the plenary sessions take place). The computer will be equipped with readers for PDF files and PPT files.
  • Please contact the technical staff --respecting the same time schedule-- if you wish to use your own computer for the presentation. However, we kindly ask you to choose this option in case of necessity only.

For each presenter, a 20-minute time slot is allocated. The presentation must be 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes of discussion. No template is specified for the presentations. You can freely place the logo of Compumag 2013 (see the links above) on your slides.
